How do you select recipients?

Recipients are nominated by people who know them — friends, colleagues, family members. We review each nomination and select based on fit with our mission: people who consistently give and rarely receive.

What counts as an “experience”?

It varies. A spa day. A concert. A private dinner. A weekend away. We design each one specifically for the recipient — not a generic gift card, but something genuinely tailored to who they are.

How much of my donation goes to experiences?

We operate as lean as possible and are committed to keeping administrative costs low, maximizing the percentage of every dollar that funds direct experiences.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Treat People Special is in the process of establishing its formal nonprofit status. We’ll update this page as that process is completed and will provide documentation to early donors.
